The subject of the fine art painting is a rural Missouri road in Livingston County, a mix of gravel and dirt, this is the road I grew up on and have driven up and down for 35 years. Rural scenes and country roads have their own very special sense of charm and atmospheric qualities.
The impressionist painting featuring a contemporary landscape was painted in January with a hint of a new snowfall beginning to occur.
