Custom Order Option: Custom Order Option: French Style Vintage Blue Armoire on Caster Wheels
This stunning and serene Pulaski vintage armoire that I curated and hand-painted. It is sold, and it is listed as an example of my work. For a custom order consideration for a similar style and painted piece, please read the text below for custom order info. Thank you for looking! The listed price is an approximate estimate. Final prices or custom orders can be quoted once we have worked out all the details.
I curate high-end, all-wood unique American and European-style furniture items and transform them in my studio through painting and redesigning. Please note that all items are vintage and are not made from scratch, but are curated by me and are hand-painted in my studio near Branson, Missouri.
Important things to know about the custom order process with my shop:
1) All items are vintage, wooden pieces in good condition that will typically have cosmetic imperfections such as light nicks and chips, and small scrapes, as well as signs of character and history. All these contribute to the appeal of the furniture and the redesign aesthetic. If you want an item to look like it just came out of the factory, a custom order of a vintage piece may not be the right fit for you. You can expect some signs of hand-painting through the occasional brush stroke, and through the artist's personal technique, which often includes layering and overlapping of colors, applied patina, and sometimes light distressing.
2) For custom orders, I request that you please send me several photos of the type of furniture you hope to have refinished for you via email at casey@mountaincovemarket.com. These can be images from my shop, from Pinterest boards, the internet, etc. This helps me to be on the same page with you in understanding what you're hoping to obtain.
3) Most custom orders take between 3-5 months to curate and refinish. A longer lead time may occur if an item is a rarer item that takes a bit longer to source.
4) For payment, 50 percent of the listing payment is due at the time of purchasing the listing. The remainder 50 percent and the shipping fee will be due before the item is shipped. The 50 percent down is non-refundable, with the exception that you will receive a refund if I am unable to obtain the item you desire. In nearly four years of doing nationwide custom orders on high-end furniture, I have not yet failed to find a specific piece for a person. If I think an item will not be a guarantee that I can find, I will pass on the custom order and will reach out to you if I do come across a specific type of piece you were looking for to see if you are still interested in one.
5) At the time of reaching out about a possible custom order, please send me the following information to help assist the communication process along: A) The desired piece and any features it may need, such as shelving (how many), a hanging bar for clothing, etc. B) Your zip code. C) The time frame you need the item. D) Colors and style you want the item painted (or if you want to collaborate with me on that, let me know). E) Whether you want the interior painted (this adds an additional fee). F) The time frame you need the piece by. G) Dimension ranges. I can work with a dimension range for each measurement, but cannot promise an exact specific set of dimensions for vintage furniture. H) Any other relevant info that you think is helpful or necessary.
6) All furniture items that I curate for you to redesign are in good condition with vintage imperfections. For armoires, the tall French-style wedding armoire doors will nearly always rest an inch or two away from the body of the piece. This is simply how they are made, the doors do snap shut on these armoires as a cabinet door would.
