This is a gorgeous antique baker's cabinet from the early 20th Century. This possum belly cabinet features six upper shelves that are tall and deep, perfect for storing baking bowls, dough bowls, and heavy kitchen items and collectibles. The smaller drawers are eight in number and offer long and narrow storage space, ideal for storing kitchen items long utensils, and more.
The table top is rustic in finish and is wide and deep, great for showcasing pretty kitchen collectibles, antique crocks, rolling pins, and your favorite accessories. Below the table are two drawers that are about 2 - 3 inches deep and are long, just the perfect size to hold items like aluminum foil, wax paper, or several jars of spices. Below those two drawers are two functioning possum belly bins, where large rounded storage is available.
This antique kitchen cabinet is in good and rustic condition. The photos reveal the condition of the item accurately. It is in solid and sturdy shape and durable to function for daily use. It is an antique and you can expect chips, nicks, watermarks, uneven faded stain discolor, surface cracks, chippiness in the finish, and aged drawer interiors. All these character imperfections and assets of patina contribute to the charm of this beautiful cabinet.
Minor repairs were made in our shop to stabilize the possum belly drawers and light repairs were made to help a couple of the upper smaller drawers slide better. They all function well. Hardware is not original.

It may be necessary to have an able bodied person on hand to assist a single shipper in unloading the item. Delivery is ground floor interior delivery and set-up assistance, and does not include taking up flights of stairs.
Timeline: Delivery will either be traditional ground service or private shipper, delivery timeframes can range from 2-5 weeks.
